Gallery XII - Jupiter
After a long period of cloudy weather the clouds parted. And most amazing of all on the night of an astronomy club meeting (OVAS), incredible. I put the SAC IV into the 10" f5.6 and added a Meade "shorty" 2x barlow. Seeing was not so good but this is what resulted - Jupiter 2/8/03. The data from run #35 of Jupiter.

After some sleep I decided to play with the data of Saturn and run #34 of Jupiter.
 Saturn was processed in Registax, This used oversampling of 1.2 and some Wavelet sharpening |
 Saturn, 10 "sharpest" frames chosen by Astrovideo and then summed in Astrovideo with unsharp masking performed in GIMP |
 Saturn was processed in Registax, 1.4x oversampling, Wavelet to 'sharmpen", USM applied in GIMP |
 Jupiter, 10 "sharpest" frames chosen by Astrovideo and then added in Astrovideo |
 Same as middle left but with unsharp masking and histogram stetching in GIMP |
