"The 2006 Solar Eclipse"

- the total solar eclipse of 2006 from the Libyan desert -

     An AVI Movie of Second contact into totality - about 3.4 MB, turn up the volume. Ok now you can turn it down, this is on infinite loop. Did you hear the raving lunatics? Hear any chanting? Now remember that there are about 1500-1600 of us out there and we are at the edge of the observing field with the camera pointed away from the crowd. Look for streamers towards the end of the clip.

        This was shot with a tripod mounted JVC GZ MG70U hard disk camcorder set on automatic.
